Keyboarding

This semester (½ year) course is open to all 7th and 8th graders. A ½ high school credit can be earned if a grade of “70” or higher is maintained for the semester average. This course develops keyboarding (typing) skills using the touch method, and formatting skills (arrangement, placement and spacing of documents) that all students need for personal applications as well as for success in the workplace.
