Keyboarding

This semester (½ year) course is open to all 7th and 8th graders. A ½ high school credit can be earned if a grade of “70” or higher is maintained for the semester average. This course develops keyboarding (typing) skills using the touch method, and formatting skills (arrangement, placement and spacing of documents) that all students need for personal applications as well as for success in the workplace.

Skills for Living

This course is a one semester class that provides opportunities for students to explore important life concepts at the middle school level.

Personal and Family Development- Miss Druian's Class

This comprehensive laboratory course is designed to address a broad range of knowledge and skills related to personal development and management, promotion of strong families, and preparation for adult roles.

A one semester course that consists of nine weeks of sewing and clothing construction, and nine weeks of food and nutrition.
